This season is inclusive to the Shakespeare-In-Hospitals Project, starting August 23rd. We are very interested in meeting classical actors who reflect the full cultural, sexual, gender and able diversity of Toronto.
The SHAKESPEARE-IN-HOSPITALS PROGRAM (SIH) provides performance opportunities to emerging and established artists while addressing physical, economic, and social barriers to community and arts engagement commonly encountered in the health care sector using classical text. The ensemble tours to select hospitals, senior residences, hospices and shelters across Toronto and the G.T.A throughout the fall. This year we will be exploring the relationship between Identity and Adaptation.
